1. Presentation of the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the IT/Telecom Business Developer is responsible for acquiring new market share and expanding the existing client portfolio. A key driver of the company, they promote high-value technological solutions (Cloud, Connectivity, Cybersecurity, UCaaS) in an international environment.

2. Main Missions


 Business Development (Hunting)

Active prospecting: Identify and target strategic accounts (SMEs, mid-sized companies or large accounts) via a multi-channel approach (Social Selling, networking, outbound calls).

  • Audit and Analysis: Analyze the existing infrastructures of prospects to identify pain points and optimization opportunities.
  • Selling complex solutions: Building tailor-made offers (Managed services sales, system integration, network solutions).

Management and Upselling (Farming)

  • Customer portfolio management: Ensuring the monitoring of the technological sales base to guarantee customer loyalty.
  • Cross-selling / Up-selling: Identify new needs within active accounts to deploy complementary technological building blocks.

Supply engineering

  • Internal collaboration: Working closely with pre-sales engineers to validate the technical feasibility of proposals.
  • Responding to Tenders: Managing the preparation of complex application files.


3. Desired Profile

Training

  • Level: Bac+3 (L3), Bac+4 (M1) or Bac+5 (M2).
  • Field: Business school or specialized Master's degree in Business Development / Technology Management. Dual "Business + Technical" skillset is a major asset.

Language Skills (Essential)

  • English: Main working language (negotiation and writing).
  • French: Fluent (communication with technology partners and international clients).
  • Russian: Fluent (opening specific markets, managing Russian-speaking accounts or relations with Eastern technology hubs).

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue (CA) generated: Volume of new signatures.
  • Gross profit margin: Preserving the profitability of the solutions sold.
  • Retention rate: Ability to maintain and grow the existing account base.
  • Sales pipeline: Value and quality of opportunities currently being identified.
